Menarini Diagnósticos S.A.’s Policy of Integrated Management System as distributor of Medical Devices and In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices:

Menarini Diagnósticos S.A. considers Quality and Environmental Protection as fundamental elements in the execution of its activities. This is why it provides the resources necessary for the appropriate development of the Integrated Management System (Quality and Environment, SIG).

The Organization advocates that its activity be compatible with sustainable development and, to ensure this, the Management defined the following guidelines and objectives:

- Cultivating client loyalty, ensuring their maximum satisfaction through the quality of products supplied and services offered.

- Guaranteeing and supervising the fulfilment of the legal requisites and requirements applicable to all the products distributed.

- Carrying out regular revisions and audits of the SIG to ensure its appropriateness, effectiveness and efficiency. Establishing the actions necessary to ensure the continuous improvement of SIG.

- Establishing and regularly reviewing the Policy, the aims, objectives and indicators of SIG, providing the resources necessary for their achievement and ensuring that Menarini Diagnósticos S.A. continues to improve the quality of its services and its behaviour towards the environment.

- Promoting efficient internal and external Communication between the various interested parties within SIG.

- Guaranteeing and supervising the fulfilment of the legal environmental requirements applicable to the company’s activities while minimizing the impact of the significant environmental aspects detected.

- Identifying and assessing the environmental aspects in all the processes that occur in the Badalona site. Said assessment undergoes periodical revision and the necessary modifications are carried out if significant changes exist.

- Optimizing the management of all the waste generated. Promoting their reuse, recycling and recovery.

- Reducing the environmental impact generated by the consumption of water and energy through the optimization of the use of natural resources.

- Informing, training and motivating personnel both on issues relating to their workplaces as well as on Environmental and Quality matters. Informing personnel of the environmental aspects linked to their activities. The whole personnel of the Organization, including those engaged in activities in our name, are given the Policy which is also made available to interested parties if so requested.

Both the Management as well as the employees are responsible for the correct and efficient accomplishment of the guidelines and objectives of the Integrated Management System.
